Black Marble Pattern Golf Polo Shirt — What You're Getting
This polo uses a 95% polyester + 5% spandex (185 GSM slightly heavier) knit (substrate: 180 GSM polyester-spandex blend) printed via dye-sublimation for the all-over pattern, with the body and collar in solid jet black pique. The result: a golf shirt that looks like a designed piece, not a screen-printed afterthought.
-
Fabric weight: 180 GSM (medium — not see-through on a 90°F day, not heavy for indoor)
-
Stretch: 4-way mechanical stretch via spandex (recovery rate tested at 96% after 50 wash cycles)
-
Moisture management: Hydrophobic polyester + hydrophilic treatment pulls sweat to the outer surface
-
UPF rating: UPF 30+ (blocks ~96% of UV-A and UV-B, tested per AATCC 183)
-
Print method: Dye-sublimation (no rubberized feel; pattern becomes part of the fabric)
-
Collar: Rib-knit self-collar with stay-flat insert — holds shape after 30+ washes
-
Placket: 3-button (genuine resin buttons, not plastic snap — they don't pop on impact)

Why Black Marble Pattern Golf Polo Shirt Specifically
The pattern: dye-sublimated marble and cracked-stone texture — silver veins, charcoal fractures, and matte black field across the entire body. We picked this design because the marble pattern reads as 'premium minimal' — appeals to buyers who want a statement polo that still pairs with chinos and a blazer. It's our top-reorder design for premium golf club and country club uniforms.
Slightly heavier 185 GSM fabric — drapes better for an upscale look. Collar stays clean black, no print bleed-through to maintain a sharp neckline.
Construction Details
-
Seams: Flatlock stitching on side seams and sleeve joins — no chafing under a swing
-
Hem: Slight vented side hems for unrestricted hip rotation
-
Shoulder tape: Self-fabric binding inside shoulder seam (prevents the stretched-out shoulder look after washes)
-
Buttons: Cross-stitched resin buttons (these will outlast plastic snap buttons by 5x in our field returns data)
-
Inner labels: Satin-finish woven care label + tear-away brand label (easy re-brand for private label buyers)

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is the black truly black or charcoal? The base is jet black (#1A1A1A). The 'marble' veins are charcoal gray (#4A4A4A) and silver (#B0B0B0). All three tones are very close to black on first glance — it's a subtle pattern, not loud.
Q: Will the silver veins look cheap after washing? No. Dye-sublimation bonds the ink into the fiber. The silver stays silver after 50+ washes in our testing. We've had zero wash-fade complaints on this design in 3 years of selling.
Q: Is this suitable for hot weather?Yes, despite the dark color. The 185 GSM knit has the same moisture-wicking treatment as our other polos. Black does absorb more heat — in 95°F+ direct sun it can feel ~3°F warmer than a light-colored polo, but it stays non-clingy.
Q: Can I add a logo or monogram?Yes — left chest embroidery or print. We can also do right sleeve / back yoke embroidery. Logo setup fee is USD $30 per design (waived on 500+ pc orders).
Q: What about for club or team uniforms? This is the design we recommend most for club uniforms. We can adjust the marble density, scale, or colorway for orders of 200+ pcs. Contact us for a club uniform quote.
